Every project on this website is an active project, or a project that has been completed. A sweep is conducted each week and all projects that are not current are permanently deleted. A project is considered not current if more than 48 hours has passed without a day at least being marked as complete. It is literally the press of one button.

The whole point of doing something for 30 days is that it's habit forming. It can change you, it can change the way you look at the world, and maybe sharing what you're doing can even change someone else. It can make an impact. It takes a significant commitment to do something every day for 30 days, and because of that some people will give up.

Deleting inactive or stale projects will help keep project makers motivated, tighten the community, and keep this website interesting for project visitors. If this policy bothers you, please consider downloading this PDF instead.
ThirtyDayProject.org was designed and developed by Andrew Wicklander - founder of Ideal Project Group - and is an implementation of Andrew Dubber's idea for a 30 day numberless calendar.
